Includes letters re upkeep, maintenance, rental, and sale of properties including the Daniel family homestead, 1449 acres in Saluda County, with 5 tenant houses, and a 366 acre farm in Edgefield County with 3 tenant houses; and his membership in Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society. Other papers document familiy activities of sisters Winnie S. Daniel (d.1947) and Julia F. Daniel, his daughter Janie Sue (b.1919), and wife Pearl Richardson.
